The past couple of weeks I've noticed there's been a few threads pop up asking where certain members are. While it is very nice to be concerned about where friends have disappeared to, some of these posts seem a wee bit excessive when I know two of the members had been online only a week before the threads were made. I don't doubt their presence is missed, but I think it's important to remember that all of us have real lives to lead also, and sometimes doing so will take us away from here without warning.
Anyhoo, I'm just wondering if it would be easier to have one main thread addressing these queries that people could post to? I know Spidey created the social group "Whereforth Art Thou" where people can post these enquiries in, and even let people know if they plan on going todash, but not everyone is a member of the group. Is it worthwhile creating a sticky thread in Chattery Teeth to "call out" to missing members, or does that seem too much hassle? I don't necessarily think a thread needs a members name in the title to encourage other members to read it. The majority of members here would open a sticky thread if they saw a new post had been made, so the intended audience is still likely to be reached, and maybe even a wider audience will see it since the postings won't get lost amongst all the others that are made here.
*This is just a suggestion and not intended to offend other members.*
