Official accumulation total for Bangor was 18" so feeling like we got off easier than our friends to the south and never lost power throughout the storm which was the best part. Haven't been out since Friday so don't know how the roads are but will find out tomorrow. Just looked out the window to see it's snowing now but the forecast is only calling for a couple inches more--hopefully they're right.

I'm so sorry you all are having to go through this. It's a terrible hardship for so many. We had a 36 inch snowstorm quite a few years ago. It was almost impossible to figure out where to even start moving it.

    Take care of each other!

I'm thinking we got off pretty lucky, but don't tell my dog that. I took him out early on Saturday morning and the wind had drifted the snow up to about half-way up on the door. He turned and looked at me like "What, you expect me to go out in that?"
I guess it was officially sixteen inches here, but I'm thinking that was just from the drifts. It looked more like eight inches.

They take good care of the roads here, so traveling wasn't too bad in my area. It was a bit worse up north. It helps that my vehicles are good in snow, and have good tires.

Video of 2 feet of snow in 14 seconds. Sorry about the commercial which is twice as long as the video.....

They really got slammed in Newfoundland. I have to phone family down there to see if they are still kicking.

Maybe, but you're sitting there in flannel pj's, robe and big fuzzy slippers on your feet!
