    The Stand. It's a great story full of well written characters. Every time I re read it I feel like I am visiting with old friends.

    It for me too, because of the relationship between the characters when they were kids. Probably why I love the film Stand By Me, I just love the way childhood friendships are depicted by King.

    It's not a single novel, but rather a journey of novels which become one-- The Dark Tower series.

    Pet Sematary will always be my favorite. Closely followed by Salem's Lot and The Shining

    Man, it is HARD to pick just one. I would say its between IT, Duma Key and Bag of Bones. But I love so many of them! It's like trying to pick your favorite child!

    The Stand.Love,struggle between good and evil,dreams,sex,sociology,journey through America...all in one.

    Exactly...It isn't a horror story to me,far from it.It's a story about friendship and the magic of been a pre teenage child.And so beautifully wrote,the only book I've ever read 3 times
