I've been reading King for about a year and a half now and I've only ever read his longer works (Under the Dome, 11/22/63, Bag of Bones, It, etc.) with the exception of a few short stories. As a college student I don't get a lot of recreational reading done during the week so I usually browse the library for books I won't have time to read, but I picked up a copy of Cycle of the Werewolf and thought to myself, "surely a book this compact with PICTURES can't be anything compared to his other works." So I read the book in one sitting without checking it out. I fell in love with the few characters that appeared in multiple scenes, and I thought such a short tale was masterfully written. It's amazing that Mr. King can do this with any story.
