I talked to him, briefly, during the DT7 book signing on King's birthday, the day (before?) the release date of DT7. It was in CT. Forget what town. I was too scared to ask King a stupid question/make a dumb comment, though I had a picture taken with him (now lost, alas). I made some comment regarding the original image of the Crimson King, and Michael went into a very detailed, thoughtful response. I found him very engaging and approachable. A very nice guy. Terrific artist as well, I might say.
