Barsham Harbor Maine and a secret labratory

An old colonial house in Barsham Harbor Maine that contains a secret radio labratory secured by a steel door. This is the labratory of Julian Blair who is convinced he has found a way to communicater with the dead via his "radio".

This is the plot of "The Edge of Running Water", auth William Sloane , pub 1939. The novel was made into the film "The Devil Commands" with Boris Karloff as Prof Blair.

Also by Wm Sloane , "To Walk the Night" , pub 1937. A beautiful , intelligent ,mysterious woman who suddenly appeared without a past, and a brain-dead woman who suddenly vanished without a trace or clue. Are they the same woman?.
