    i can't help it, lil...it's like a disease...if i don't say it (write it)...my mind begins to melt...

    ...guess that's why they call me puddles...

    just be glad...be very, very glad...that i haven't even tried to learn how to photoshop/paste in pictures

    now that could be very dangerous

    Stephen King also comments a bit on his father in Danse Macabre. It is clear that he (like myself) was very curious about the father he never really knew. His father, by accident, introduced him to Lovecraft via books left behind. I speculate that the primary influence on Stephen King was his mother and perhaps his older brother whom we often see in bits here and there throughout his books (the most is in On Writing). It should also be noted that voracious readers (and King has always been one) have an extended family and storm of influences coming from the countless tomes.

    I have always wondered about Stephens older brother.
    Any one thats read about Eddie Dean and his Brother
    ...is going to wonder....

    but...You can not ask questions like that of anyone.
