George Washington killed thousands of British so that I could have the right to send messages written in light salmon. It would be a disservice to his memory if I didn't use it.

I had to make an exception as everyone oh-so-predictably started writing in colours.

I didn't tell or even ask anyone to stop writing in colour/color. (Although I did take the liberty of changing your font back to black while quoting)
