    the SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN

Universal and Will Smith claim production and title role rights summer 2007..

As firefighters battle the blaze, rescue teams do their best to retrieve the bodies of the crew, presumably dead. The name and title of that astronaut pilot and first bionic man is Colonel Steven William Austin.

The CIA division OSI (Office of Scientific Intelligence) is behind the emergency and experimental surgery headed by Dr Rudy Wells. Both his legs, right arm, right eye and ribs are successfully replaced with high tech cybernetic bionics that work in conjunction with his biological system. In addition, implants are attached to his brain to monitor activities and any potential problems, and his skull is reinforced with a special metal stronger than steel. The cybernetic bionic parts give Col Austin super strength, speed and vision, as well as remote connection abilities from his brain to computer systems.

After a long and gruelling therapy and a series of tests Austin is officially recruited by OSI as a super agent. The therapy goes slow at first as Austin mourns the loss of the co-pilot on the mission, his wife, Jamie.

After Austin finally accepts the loss of his beloved wife and also accepts his new self and the responsibility that comes with such special powers, his therapy accelerates and all tests are completed to everybodys satisfaction.

Steve Austin is introduced to his new boss, OSI director, Oscar Goldman, and is sent on his first mission. He is to enter jungle terrain in Africa and find a hidden terrorist camp possessing sensitive CDs and documents with dangerous nuclear secrets, technology, etc. After Steve is discovered sneaking back out of the camp a wild explosive and action packed one against many terrorists battle breaks out. Austin is able to smash some of the terrorists using his bionics, in self defense of course, and retrieve all dangerous and sensitive materials. However, Austin becomes too zealous in the use of his bionic abilities and the 'show' attracts attention.

Steve is ordered to take a short vacation after being drilled by Oscar and Rudy. It is not long before Steve begins being tortured by dreams and visions of his wife Jamie. The visions become so vivid and painful that Steve returns to the OSI department of the CIA for help. While on the premises the visions begin to strengthen until Steve loses consciousness. While scanning Steve and refining some of the cybernetic bionics, his remote connection brain implants tie in to the OSI computer and Steve retrieves top secret information on a bionic female who lies in a coma. The cybernetic surgery seems to have gone well but the woman remains in a coma since months.

Later, after tests and no more plaguing visions, Steve begins to demand more information on the bionic woman. After some hefty discussing, and some 'musle flexing' by Steve, Oscar and Rudy reluctantly reveal the identity of the woman, Jamie Sommers-Austin.

Steve begs with authorities and specialists to take more risks while refusing to leave her side. After a few days of sobbing over Jamie and carressing her hand, he gives her a kiss and, like 'Sleeping Beauty' awakening with a kiss from Prince Charming, Jamie regains consciousness. Unfortunately, she has amnesia.

Steve is then informed that Jamie has basically the same cybernetic bionics as he but with added power, special hearing implants, and weapons that are hidden in her bionic arm.

The days and weeks that follow go well with Jamie's therapy until she is also ready to begin work as a super agent. Steve, who again must deal with extreme emotions of relief and joy combined with sadness and disappointment, is requested to be her mentor and agrees immediately to it, with no other option anyway. Goldman and Wells explain it could be harmful to try and force any past memories to the surface, and so Steve must promise to respect that and not mention anything out of the past.

The day comes for Jamie's first mission with Steve now befriended with Steve after all his help throughout the therapy. The two go on a mission to recover a prototype fighter jet that crash landed in hostile territory in the desert. A wilder sneak in, two against an army of terrorists battle breaks out with a thrilling advanced fighter jet ride after successful retrieval of the prototype. Then, after a wild 'cat-and-mouse' scrambling of jets, the two make a narrow escape with the help of highly advanced stealth technology that works even on the human eyes.

Jamie and Steve go out on their 'first date' to break the monotony of being super agents and to give the audience a pause to settle back down. During the meal certain gestures and expressions of Steve give Jamie flashbacks and she begins to recall certain things. She also gets a massive headache. Jamie begins to be plagued by muscle cramps and spasms. Jamie's biological system begins to reject the bionics, and before anbody can do anything she becomes aggressive and violent. She overpowers Steve and runs off. All of Jamie's systems turn on and increase power to full strength as all thought circuits 'snap' and she begins to run amok amongst the open city.

Goldman and Wells decide the only hope now is to accept the fact that Jamie must be terminated in order to stop her. Steve is the only man that can do it although she is more powerful than he with built in weapons. The inner conflict to Steve is excruciating but what choice does he have with public lives and national security at stake.
The ultimate boinic cyborg hunt to duel takes shape as Steve goes after Jamie..
