because, of course, it's always the other guy who's messing it all up...not their guy...just ask 'em, they'll tell ya

shippy...not sure how old a tyke you are...but prices have been going up on all that stuff since time immemorial...this is nothing new to obama...it is a cornerstone of capitalism

i can remember the day when i could take ten cents into a store and come out with a bunch of candy i did not steal...
my 1st gallon of gas cost around .75...and it's pretty much gone up every year since then...

i watch a heck of alot of news shows..including business news shows...

and, since before bush left office...everything was supposed to tank so bad, they were calling for a world wide depression, just as todash alluded to...

the closer-to-clinton-esque-than-to socialism obama policies did help stem some of the worst of all that from happening as bad as it was being predicted by just about everyone...and all the independant news sources have been saying that for years.

obama did, repeatedly, force his left wing to adopt more centerish policies on almost every item in their agenda...just ask them how much of thier policies they've even been able to even bring to the table...the entirety of the health care bill is a republican plan...

sure, it ain't pretty: no one ever said anything like this would be; heck, the president has been saying since before he got elected the first time that it would a long, hard row to hoe...

as to your stunning intellect...heck, from what i read...you're in the same boat as all the rest of us: a little rusty...a little leaky...but, it all floats down here !

keep posting you thoughts...we'll keep posting ours, even if they diverge a little. that's what makes the new world so great...if we can all just agree to get along, in the end, everything will be just fine

and, remember: don't sell yourself short - you can still put a sentence together...and that's more than 50% of the people anywhere on the 'net can do !
