Not sure how appealing a punny book is. Have you got a favourite one? And are they shortish? I don't do more than 400 pages very willingly unless its King. (I'm awkward aren't I?)
Not awkward, you just have limitations. To each his own. Start with the first one, that seems logical. Amazon lists it as 352 pages.

I spread the word amongst my nearest and dearest about some of the books mentioned here before Christmas and on the big day received Watership Down. I've only read about thirty pages so far but have the feeling that I may well fall in love with this book!
I finished Watership Down the other day!
