I wish nothing more than health and happiness for this young family. Being in the eye of the world as they are cannot be an easy way to live. Like the Royals or not - they deserve our utmost respect.

I'm happy for them, mostly because they actually seem to love and respect each other, and maybe even *gasp* like each other!

Plus, boy or girl, that baby is going to be a looker.

You know what? Hyper-emesis isn't funny, even when it's a member of the royal family. You can lose a baby with it, and I don't wish that on anyone who wants their unborn child.

You can lose your life. Dehydration is a killer and this poor girl is already a skinny little thing.

It's quickly fixed, though. She won't be able to throw up the IV fluid.

Nope she won't, but IV fluids could cause other problems, especially oedema which can affect various organs in the body.

IVT is not the quick fix for dehydration that most people think it is.

Just saw on news that she went home. Now if the world can leave these kids alone so that she can have a quiet pregnancy. Yeah right!

I haven't checked it out yet, but some Aussies from a radio station down under have called the hospital pretending to be Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. It's a radio prank, of course. I will have to listen to it later when I have more time as I think it's about four minutes long.
