Perhaps I should add this to my to-read list. I haven't read it yet, but was hoping for a DT re-read. And also a Hobbit/LOTR reread. (And some of Tolkein's other work) I kinda want to read the Hunger Games too, I might squeeze that in sometime.

Sounds like the ending will be changed from the book (a weak point IMO) to open it up for a second season. Not my fav. book. (Cooked politicians and crooked "so called" Christians. Wish SK would write an honest genuine Christian sometime. Maybe he just has not encountered one to give him a good reference.) UTD will never replace The Stand as my fav stand alone book. But it will be interesting to see how the series works.

I'm so glad to hear about this!!! Will certainly follow the series. Can't wait to hear from casting. Steve's stories on TV and movies always had great cast to portray his characters.
