GNTLGNT, are you actually speechless? your post is blank.
Here's a picture I put on a baby blanket. I call it Beary Potter. I entered it into a contest....didn't win, but I came in second. (Hopefully this link works.)

That cross stitch is gorgeous! And so time consuming. Loved the video too, thanks for that.
I used the old fashioned waste canvas. I've never heard of that water soluble in the video. I think I'll pick some up because I want to make a sweat shirt for myself. The old fashioned waste canvas works really well, but most of the pictures I stitch say not to stitch on waste canvas. (Beary Potter said not to.). The reason is, when you are pulling the threads out they can break. And quarter stitches are very difficult to do.
Some advice for anyone that tries using it (the original stuff), when you are pulling out the threads the instructions say to wet it first. But I find what works best is to put water into a spray bottle and just dampen it thoroughly. And if you are allergic to corn do NOT use the old fashioned waste canvas, corn starch is used to stiffen it.
...oh now really?...you KNOW better than that!....GNTLGNT, are you actually speechless? your post is blank....stupid link dropped quicker than the Dow Jones....let's try again...
