A "just for fun" question: Let's say that Stephen King is coming to your house tonight to watch a movie with you. You want to impress him with your great taste, originality and coolness, possibly show him something he hasn't seen before, maybe scare him, or maybe just make him laugh. Assume any movie is available, past or present. What movie (or movies, if you can't just name one) do you show him?

If Steve happens to read this, maybe he'll get some decent recommendations!

    No takers?

Okay, I'm sure he's seen this movie before, but I think I'd have to watch "Apocalypse Now" with him.

Windjammer- 1958 movie showed on the first curve cinema screen. Just blew me away as a teen.
Rear Window, second choice- just edge of seat watching.

Well, since I want to see Lincoln, I'd take him to see that.

If he's anything like me (and for some strange reason I'd bet he's more like me than I is), the time would be better spent with a medium cracklefire in the place designed for them...and the idiot box off.

I don't know. The question blew me away.
