Cell: The Movie?

There is a rumor going round, that CELL is now being made into a film with John Cusack and the director from 1408. There is also talk that King himself has written the script. Is there any truth in this?

I think it would make a great film.

I'm surprised it hasn't been made into a movie yet,the story lends itself into a movie adaptation very well,I think..let's hope it gets done!

John Cusack is a very carismatic actor. I'm anxious to see him as Clayton, but this probably won't happen until 2014.
