I really tried to do a faithful job in adapting the story. The biggest challenge, because the story was sort of this one continuous experience, was to find places where the story can break and leave each page with a little mini-cliffhanger...not terribly difficult because i think, in good stories from solid writers, those sort of hooks are peppered all the way through. I've always thought the number one job of a story is to simply make you want to keep reading by making you want to know WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. But to find it in 24 evenly spaced parts...lol...THAT was a challenge.
