golden years was one of my finest entertainment experiences. i am in full protest of cancelling it before the whole story was told. an abominable insult to mr king, mr bowie, fans of the show and artistry in general.

I was wondering the same thing. They did use David Bowie's Golden Years for the theme song, but I couldn't figure out how it fit into the thread title.
