...tidy little story...not an "inside the park home-run" IMO, but a good read nonetheless...
I think I haven't read it yet, so I'll have to come back to this thread after I do...
I found it an enjoyable read. Especially liked the mentioning of local places and use of product names. It made me feel "comfortable".
It was a good story, enjoyed it.
Very good. Reminded me a bit of "The Reach" mixed with "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band," and maybe not quiiiiite as good as those, but still very satisfying.
Nice read, although I knew were it was going from the first face he sighted. That never bothered me though!
A bit predictable but fun as I am from Massachusetts and a Sox fan. This was a close to the heart story. But not a King creepy crawly style story I prefer.
I didn't love this (which is a nice way of saying I didn't really like it very much). It really had nothing new to say and seemed like a throwaway. Also, why is there a co-author on this book? I feel liek SK knows enough about baseball to be able to have written this on his own. Any ideas why he needed a co-author?
