Thanks Ms. Mod. In retrospect, I think "need" was the wrong word. I really meant to just ask why there was a co-author. And of course, Ms. Mod has the answer. Now that I know this, it just seems to me that the two of them could have come up with something much more interesting. Oh well, different strokes for different folks. I guess I am in the minority on this one,.

No I haven't, but I know about it and to me that book makes perfect sense. The two of them writing this not-so-very interesting story just seemed like a waste of talent and time; I went into reading it thinking there would be a bigger payoff. But that is just my opinion, I am not knocking the talent of either writer.

I liked this story, but was a bit confused with the ending. Did the game represent that they are in heaven, hell, or purgatory? I may be reading too much into it, but it had me thinking. I guess being at an extended innings baseball game would be hell for me lol.

...I kinda thought it stood for how you "pitch" in the "game of life" , will determine what you "field" afterward...then again, I could just be full of ballpark franks...
