It is, but we have an excerpt posted for download at this link.
I have to add the audiobooks of Hearts In Atlantis and Dolores Claiborne to the list. I listened to Dolores in one day. I was working around the house Saturday and listened to the whole thing on my mp-3 player while doing chores. It's probably around an 8 hour audiobook so it's not too long.
Cool. Thanks, I didn't know this existed on the site.
I was reading SKs letter about the story and I found a passage about an unintentional similarity between The Simpsons movie and UTD that would be good to paste in that thread about 11-22-63 being similar to a Twilight Zone episode
Unless there’s deliberate copying (sometimes known as “plagiarism”), stories can no more be alike than snowflakes. The reason is simple: no two human imaginations are exactly alike.
wow...after all those lists, i feel all sort of paltry...
i've read three this year...a reread of The Shining...The Wind Through The Keyhole and i just finished The Mist for the 4th time ever
does it count that i've already read them all...every one of them...many more than once ?![]()
Don't feel too bad, Guido.....
I think I've only read two SK books this year. Carrie and Firestarter.....both first time reads for me.
However, I read several other authors as well....usually two or three books per month.
~ New Year 2013 ~
I haven't read anything fully yet as the year has just begun,
I can't wait for the arrival of Doctor Sleep and Joyland.
I also plan on reading Cell, Full Dark No Stars, Nightmares & Dreamscapes, The Talisman and Black House this year.
Last year, I read a few select of Mr. King's short stories, including Crouch End, and N. I also started Under the Dome. This year, I've begun a listen to my IT audiobook (over 40 hours long, so it's definitely providing hours of entertainment) and I've begun reading 11/22/63. I'm about halfway finished that one. I hope to get a lot of SK reading done this year. I call myself a fan but I don't think I've read even half of his books. Shame on me!
