Can't wait...particularly since it's more of a crime novel. The King twist should make that very interesting! Also stoked about the idea that he's apparently passing on the idea of the digital scene for this one - in other words, go out and read a book, slackers!

I am intrigued by this book, definitely gonna buy it as soon as it appears in my town (hope it will be soon enough after the novel is released).

I like the beginning. The excerpt is a bit short though. The novel is called JOYland and the character is really unhappy - nice contradiction.
It's certainly true about first love - that first blow is the hardest - I think we somehow hope or expect that new wonderful experience to be something to last forever.

It's regular price here though, not as cheap as Colorado Kid was unfortunately (but then it's longer too). Don't know if I'll get it right away then. But I'm sure I'll read it eventually.
