Default Should I read this book?

Haha, it's safe to assume this is Stephen King's least popular book, given the lack of posts in this section...

I was in a bookshop in the North of England where I live a couple of years ago when I saw this book which I'd not heard of.

As a huge King fan I couldn't not buy it, so I bought it, but having no interest in baseball or sport generally it's sat on the shelf unread.

Is this one for baseball fans only or is there something for King fans?

...I wouldn't say it's his least popular...it just happens to be a non-fiction piece...and yes, it's geared toward fans of baseball-and the BoSox in particular...but if you enjoy his writing and musings-then yeah, this is quite an enjoyable book...

I am not what one would call a dead hard sports fan, but friends enjoy sports, so I've watched several games.
I really enjoyed the book. It probably means a lot more to true sports fans, but I liked the interaction, thoughts, and at time funny aspects within the book. It was an adventure between two real sports fans, and the reader was sitting on the side lines enjoying all their feelings and reactions. Must say, I did enjoy reading the book and it gave me a new understanding about baseball and its fans. Give it a read, you might be surprised.

Not a huge baseball fan (I'm more into hockey), but this book was 'okay' to read. The insight was pretty funny at times.
