While chaperoning a field trip to a manatee viewing station my husband told a group of children who had just learned that manatees are on Florida's endangered species that manatees are tasty. the looks of horror he got!

by the way, why people save animals from extinction? Pandas for example, artificial insemination? when they simply don't want to reproduce? Let them go.. can you imagine being the last two people on earth and having a baby?
