Hitting the trail

Well it's been a hard travel these past few days but that's all gonna change in a little over a month. In June I will be leaving for Missouri to stay with my 2 best friends and getting on at a local hospital. I will be doing C.N.A. work but first I have to pass my state test on may 21st. I am thinking of packing a few books to read while I'm there. (I'll be there for a little over 2 months) I was thinking of packing the dark tower 2, duma key, and the stand. Sound like a good bundle of reading?

Good for you! Your reading list sounds great - except I would take all of The Dark Tower. That world is addictive as hell, and if I didn't take them with me, I'd have to buy them there. (I really love my Kindle sometimes - it cuts down immensely on packing weight.)

Great time of year for pack a sturdy fishin' pole, there's some awful mighty Catfish to be found lurkin' in Missouri waters I'ma here to tells ya

I'm sure this will be an excellent experience, Dave. Be your kind self with the patients. They need that and will remember you for it. Make friends and don't expect anything else from any of them than to reciprocate friendship. Keep a journal if the idea appeals to you, and keep us posted. Good luck!
