    1982 for me, mjs... yep, this was definitely a one-off read, which is not typical for me with Stephen's stories as I've read most of them at least twice.

    Read the book when first published. This is the only SK book that I read, put away with my other SK books and have not touched it since. The story hit too close to memories. Must admit I have never watched the movie. Don't think I could.

    April 10th,1981..the anniversary just passed,yeah that was a bad day..in some ways it feels like yesterday,in some ways it feels like forever..I happened on the scene,and well it was not good..
    I am very sorry for your loss as well..

    Just finished Pet Semetary, and I really enjoyed it.. it was a great read,

    and the idea of these big trucks driving very close to Louis house made my feel uneasy, that an accident was bound to happen...I thought the idea of the dead being able to return, kinda had a George Romero feel to it, and i felt so sad in parts for Louis who was willing to do anything to bring Gage back..
    It was a dark story and a brilliant read...
