    That is the cover I had, and the train looked black to me. And the description describes Charlie.

    Well, the cover depicted on my personal copy shows a train in silhouette, with a blue hue in the background..

    Wondered what the hell you were talking about then. I keep forgetting that every King book has about 6 million different covers. Mine is a UK publication by Hodder/NEL, they are all the same size and style with only slight differences and different colours - except Dark Tower (vol 7) which is much bigger in height width and number of pages, plus it has lots of full page illustrations. It doesn't fit my collection.

    Anyway, here is my wastelands front cover.

    thats the version that i bought in the secondhand bookstore last month, its one of the best cover of Waste Land
