I am happy today because I had four days-off, and it was so great, finally had time to relax. Also, happy because I finally found the book I was looking for - The Woman in Black by Susan Hill.

The PMI drops off our mortgage this month! Woot woot!

And, I'm not changing our payment amount, instead that extra money will go towards the principle. Which means instead of the 30 year mortgage that we originated, we will pay off in 14 years, for a grand total of us owning a 22.5 year mortgage! Yee haw!

I'm happy today because my boss called me and asked if I want to come and doing evening shift on Saturday and Sunday. I said
yes and now I have time on Saturday before work to go and buy a mother's day present to my mom. Yes I was little to early with
mother's day last week when I thought it was last Sunday. But it is this Sunday first. Realize it later on.

I am happy today because someone made the effort to do something nice for me on Saturday. He made sure I smiled and in all the crap I am dealing with here right now, I still have a stupid, dumb-Arsch grin on my face because I know there is someone out there who is nice.

I am also happy today because I have a friend who is making no bones about telling me he comes over and checks my safety now that he knows there is trouble at home. I love friends like that.

I am ALSO happy today because a young man who is covered with gang tattoos is finding his way to better mental health and stability. I always held out hope for him, and last night he shook my hand at work. There is always HOPE, people!
