I am happy today because...part II

I'm happy 'cause my husband, who's only had his job for a few months, had told his manager during their one-on-one last week that the main project he's been assigned has out-of-control scope creep and that he was being expected to act as project manager when that's not at all his role, and he was worried that she took it the wrong way ... so he decided to take the bull by the horns and apologize to her. (He really was worried about termination, even though he's been an excellent performer.) So they met today, and she said she thought about what he said and that she really had dumped on him without explaining clearly what he is and isn't expected to do, and so everything is all good now! Hooray!

Am happy today because a dog, Frodo, who was given up by his owner (the assisted living would not allow) and scheduled to be put down this morning has been adopted. And the turn out was so massive that the county commission is allowing a hearing for animal control to made a no kill shelter.
