I am happy today because picked my next online class: Mystery and Science Fiction. I get credit for reading Stephen King, John Steinbeck, and Edgar Allan Poe. How much better could it get?

I'm happy today because I text the other chiropractor last week and she answer back today. I have my first visit to her on Monday.

I'm happy today because after 3 years I'm FINALLY getting my boyfriend to Mackinac Island. He grew up in Michigan and has never been. I also grew up in Michigan and have probably been to the island about 20+ times. We even got to go on school field trips! It's even more exciting because I've always wanted to stay the night on the island but was never able to because it's pretty expensive. But my boyfriend got an offer from his company and we're spending a whole weekend at the Grand Hotel. YES!!!! I feel like a kid again.

I'm happy today because complaining was well worth my time. We've had an issue at a large chain store. Often the price on the shelf is lower then the price the item scans at. When we point it out, they say the shelf is wrong. Last weekend we went in because of the flyer. Watches were 25% off. The flyer specified two brands not included in the flyer. We selected a watch that was not one of those two brands. It scanned at the regular price. We pointed it out, and were told it was not part of the sale, even though it was not one of the excluded brands.

I sent an e-mail complaining (something I very rarely do). After a few e-mails back and forth, they asked for my phone number. Today I got a call, and after explaining everything, they apologized, said the store manager will be spoken to as his actions are not in line with store policy. AND they are sending me a $50 gift card.

Did I mention, it was a really cheap watch?
