I'm reading the second Longmire book, Death Without Company.

Last week I finished up The Twelve, then read Dog On It by Spencer Quinn (love Chet!!) and then read a cute little story that was free for the kindle called Completely Restored, about a family who spent 3 years and a whole lotta money to restore their Victorian house to original condition, and then the morning after hanging the original front door, the last thing that needed done, they woke up in 1909, the year the house was built.

Oh! And The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry...sad and hopeful and uplifting all at the same time. I have been picking some sad books lately!

I'm a big fan of McEwan's work. It's hard to talk about Sweet Tooth without discussing the book's innermost secret. Suffice to say I enjoyed it, especially once I understood what he was up to.

I planned to do this around Halloween, but picked up some other things first. I am starting "It", and although I read the book around 25 years ago, more or less, whenever it came out, I can tell I have forgotten a lot of little details, including references to the turtle (DT related?).

I have been picking some sad books lately!

The book I am reading with my daughter is breaking my heart! I came to such a sad part yesterday, I almost couldn't go on! If you are an animal lover, do not pick up this book.(An autobiography of a stray by Anna M Martin)

I'm currently reading Jesse Kellerman's french traduction of TROUBLE. It reminds me of the movie Fatal Attraction. Jesse writes great thrillers. I recommend.
