Just finished "Insomia", and just starting "The Last Werewolf" by Glen Duncan.
Just finished "Insomia", and just starting "The Last Werewolf" by Glen Duncan.
I started with Eyes of the dragon by Sai King.
Since my last visit 3 weeks ago I have finished The Waste Lands and Wizard and Glass, made a brief detour to read Logan's Run, and am now 80% through Wolves of the Calla. Woo hoo!
Re-reading Cujo.
Finished The Light Between Oceans the other night. I really liked it. It didn't go in quite the direction I thought! The author did a really great job of making you feel for everyone, and see all sides. It did make me cry in a couple different places toward the end, especially the last few pages. Really beautiful story, I thought.
Started the first Longmire mystery last night, The Cold Dish. Has already made me laugh out loud. The books and show are set in my little corner of the world, although the show mixes things up a little bit, as far as names go. Anyway, they were discussing town Christmas decorations, and one character asks, "Do you think they are the ugliest in Wyoming?" After a little thought, Walt answers, "Gillette's are uglier." It made me laugh, because we really do have the most pitiful, ugliest Christmas decorations I think I've ever seen.![]()
I am reading David Copperfield and really loving it. Every now and again I love to read a classic.
