I'm finally reading "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. I loved the movie, so no doubt the book will be even better.

It's really a good book, dare I say a 'great' book? While reading it, it seems like a rather 'light' type of read, but there's a whole heck of alot going on under the surface. Enjoy!!!

Just finished Vlad by Carlos Fuentes; 'tis only 122 pages but chock full of story!

Will exchange it at the library for Niceville by Carsten Stroud. This is supposed to be about a "town where evil lives longer than men do" and is the first in a trilogy.

Started 77 Shadow Street by Koontz last night. There are no extraordinarily talented Golden Retievers in sight! So far, so good.

OK, finished this the night before last and somehow I just knew I was going to be eating my words- two, yes TWO retrievers show up in the last chapter!!!!!! D*mn it, Dean, get over the obsession with the goldens already!!!!!

So I got Primordium, the next book in Halo's Forerunner trilogy of books. I'm about halfway through and it's excellent.
