I blew through "1408" last night. How I wish this story was sooooo much longer. Such a spooky story. Hadn't read that one in a while.

Current non-King read: A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce. I heard this is the one to read before attempting Ulysses.

Current King (re)read: The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Midges and hummocks and noseeums, oh my!

just finished an old paperback i bought at a used bookstore a while back: 'sherlock holmes war of the worlds' by manly w. wellman and wade wellman interesting retelling of the wells story...wells even plays an off-camera roll of sorts...kinda cool in an old-fashioned way

now, i'm midway through another used bookstore find; 'in the blood' by stephen gresham...a vampire book..very b-movie-ish and quite good
