I just started Boy's Life by Robert McCammon. The beginning seems to be a compilation of continuing short story like episodes, with references to earlier episodes within each one. Reminds me in a way of All Creatures Great & Small. In reading synopses of this book, this pattern should change. Either way McCammon's style is engaging and easy to read.
Yes, McCammon's very engaging. I've really have been enjoying his works.
I'm getting further into the Dark Tower books...and loving every second!
The Matthew Corbett series starts with Speaks the Night Bird, followed by Queen of Bedlam,
Mr. Slaughter, and The Providence Rider. Mr. McCammon is working on a follow-on.
