Oooh, walnut anything is bad juju for horsies. It's because it's a nightshade. So are tomatoes, eggplants, and garlic.

But I love giving horses Starlite mints and cut-up, seeded oranges. It's so great to smell their breath after crunching up the stuff with peppermint and orange oils!

If I ever smell a horse's breath and it's minty or citrusy, I'll know you've been around.

I said yesterday I am not able to log in today but my
sister have internet on her phone so I wanted to stop by
quickly. The musical was awesome and so sad. Soon I start
to sleep. The hotel we have is great too. Weather was great when we left
but got worser later on when we got closer our capital
Later on the evening it got better again

Good Monday to all. Must agree fljoe, time change is not working for me either. Critters do not seem to mind, but I do.
Daughter's car would not start this morning. Me thinks the coons are playing with wires again. Jiggled a few and off she went. Battery is almost new.
Did get some Spring Cleaning in over the weekend. Was 80F yesterday. Rains due in and then return to cooler night. Rollercoaster ride in Fl this winter.
Sending positive vibes out to all.
Herbal tea in hand and off to bean bag central. All are welcome to join.

Good Monday! Hope everyone is doing well!

I spent all weekend spring cleaning. Still have one cabinet left to do in the kitchen, and 3 drawers. Makin' progress!!

Had to run to the store already this morning, I forgot today was Ty's day to bring snack. I was gone half an hour, and hubby had all 3 kids showered, dressed, and 2 of the 3 of them fed! WOW!!

Probably will take it mostly easy today, one more night shift to go, so I will keep it as quiet as possible around here for him today.

Hope all had a great weekend! Oh hope Spidey your daughter's car will work soon again. It's stinks when
car's not work. Have been there myself. It's been cold the whole weekend around -10C to -20C but sunny
almost everyday. On daytime it's warmer because it's sunny but on nights it's getting colder again.
We still have to wait couple of weeks before we change our time. I think it was end of this month.
The trip was great on Friday and Saturday and we had so much fun.

Good morning and happy Monday to you all! I am sooo glad my weekend is here I could dance.... I need coffee first though.
Things are crazy at work and I am refusing to ride that crazy train. I am maintaining a positive attitude, keeping my cool, and getting my work done, but if I had to do it for more than five days in a row I'd flip out.
The company I work for is doing the "more with less" thing and it's about worked us all to the bone.
Over the last few months we have lost six seasoned workers and they have been replaced by three people who are temps that have no benefits and are only paid minimum wage.
They don't know from month to month if they still have a job or not, which is tough on them. The company has basically cut all the training programs too so they have to learn as they go, I call that the baptism by fire training program.... so they are messing up stuff and I can't blame them.
I'm doing my best to take them under my wing and get them up to speed. Which is a little crazy making because I have a ****e ton of stuff to do myself.



I would be more than happy to go along with this if the company was in trouble but our profits have done nothing but gone up and up and up.

Oh well, it was a great job for a while, now it's a job. I'm glad I'm working and I love that I get to hang out with books all day, but it's sad to see a beautiful thing become just one more piece of ugly.
Maybe it's time for me to go back into healthcare.... the world moves on.

Patricia, I'm in healthcare but love the idea of working in a bookstore. I only say it because it's ka-incidentally so and not to make a point I don't particularly seem to have at hand. Hmm... I do notice, though, that the focus of your post is on others' needs, discomforts. Maybe you're working exactly where you should be, especially in the changes occurring around you.
