Want to wish everyone a safe and great Thursday.

Been very cold lately. Had -10C this morning and yesterday. I wish for little warmer weather soon again.

Hope all is feeling well or getting better very soon. My flu are finally getting better. Took over two weeks
before the cough was over. Now it's all better.

Stay safe and take good care of you.

Battening the hatches down; the winds are gonna blow.
Weathermen predict that Massachusetts will get snow...
Not the kind they're measuring in inches, but in feet.
It could be a week before I'm getting up my street.

Have to hit the grocery store (again) 'cause I forgot
Only one or two last minute items; not a lot.
These days, any time I hear a blizzard's on the way,
I stock up on everything for an extended stay.

When the winds are howling and it's piling up outside
I feel better knowing that my pantry's well supplied.
Other blizzards came and went in 35 long years;
Back when all I thought to buy were cigarettes and beers.

It's back to work for me today, so I'll take my ol' black Joe to go. When I get off work I'll be going to visit a friend of mine who has just moved back here from South America. She and her very interesting

boyfriend moved there several months ago to open a vegan cupcake bakery..... it didn't work out. None the less I'm sure they will have lots of interesting stories to share about their adventures. I'm really happy to see them back home.

Hello, everyone! Happy Thursday!

I am moving pretty slow today. I need to get with it, my inlaws are coming over at some point today. Ali has a concert tonight. I don't know yet if they are going to go with us to that, they don't really do those kinds of things. They didn't act very pleased when I said we had that going on tonight, like I did it on purpose to just not be available to them. I have some hurt feelings over some things that have been said (not by them, by one of my SILs, but they haven't done anything to stick up for me, and that hurts my feelings too.) and I just don't feel very motivated to have company. Part of me says to not worry about it and whoever doesn't like it can kiss my butt or just not come to MY home, and part of me stresses over it to the point it makes me sick to my stomach. And the stressed out part of me usually wins the battle.

So, I will be popping in and out today. Hope everyone has a really great day, sending big big hugs!

Hey, er'body! I realized I haven't dropped in for a while. Been too busy being sensible about firearms, I guess.

Sorry for your difficulties, Tina. I'm sure it's hard not to take it personally, but just remember, people rub each other the wrong way sometimes, and some of us rub so much that we generate enough friction to run a small electric car. When they come over, they'll bring their crappy attitudes with 'em, and ain't nothing you can do about that; just try to make sure they don't accidentally leave them behind when they go.
