Woke up to high winds, temp at 32, and a half inch of snow......forcast is accumulation of between 4 and 8 inches by Wednesday.
I'll be fine as long as the electricity stays up.
Hoping all in Sandy's path are warm, dry and safe ♥

We've got the same weather ( though not as much snow) Our winds are supposed to be blowing for 36hrs straight, with power outages expected. My thoughts and prayers are with all who are in the path of Sandy. Please be prepared and safe.
I wonder why our power company expects outages.....Could it be that our power lines look like this?Attachment 16375
Just popping in to add my prayers and safe vibes to all in Sandy's path. Stay safe!!

Please stay safe from Sandy storm who's in that area. I heard and read about
it today. I will hold all in my thoughts and prayers.
Still snow on the ground here and cold too. It's been -5C the whole weekend. Brrrr...
Forecast says rain for this week but now it's seems unlikely with all this snow.
Stay safe be well and promise to take care of you my friends.

Howdy friends, I hope all is doing well considering the weather we are experiencing. Thought I would stop by and grab some cold pizza out of the fridge with a nice big glass of milk. (It does the body good!)
I think I smell chili and cinnamon rolls somewhere so I will be off shortly to see what I can get into.
Hoping that all of our Tet in the path of Frankenstorm stay safe!!![]()
Just stopping by to put up my feet for a second. I've been baking up a... uh... ahem. Well, you get the picture. Our power goes out if someone sneezes and the eye of the storm is supposed to pass right over us. We're not in a coastal area, but we're looking at potential surface flash flooding and all sorts of wind damage. Our power and water will probably kick out because they always do. And right over Halloween, too.My kids are not in an understanding mood right now, but maybe they'll forgive me when I pull out the cider and pumpkin cake I squirreled away.
Here's hoping everyone else is safe and sound. I guess I'll be catching up on my reading.
The wind sounds like a freight train and the accompanying rain is cutting! Stay safe all!!
