There's a storm howling through here today. Again. I'll be hiding in the corner booth with a cup of hot chocolate, spiked with a good-sized tot of Bundaberg.

They were imported here in the 30's to kill sugar cane grubs (Australia has a problem with these too and they were imported there for the same reason). I finally looked behind a chair and found this gigantic toad stuck in a corner repeatedly hopping up against the wall.

Doesn't sound like a very smart toad!! (Would somebody please move this wall? I'm walkin' heah!!)

Happy Friday! My mom says I'm wishing my life away, but the weeks seem sooo long these days and I look forward to a few minutes of doing nothing over weekends. I hope you all are well - hugs and good energy to all!

Stopping by to wish everyone a happy weekend!

Going to be a busy one here, have to work on cleaning up the mess I made in the basement looking for the snake and catch up on laundry. I have a lot of catch up to do. Snake hasn't shown up yet, so he gets one more quiet day and then I'm cleaning up. The mess and all of the fruitless searching has turned me into a crazy woman this week. Going to enjoy having the house to myself today and tackle it all tomorrow.

Want to wish everyone a great and safe weekend!!

Work weekend for me and then I have two birthday party to go on.
My sister and my cousin had their birthday beginning of this week.

Weather has been rainy today again and it's about 7C outside.
It has rain a lot these last months. Wish for some better weather soon.

Hope you'll find the snake very soon Tina. Or maybe he show up
when you least expect it. Good luck of finding him.
