Happy Thursday Y'all!
Just a drive by to say hi. I stayed in bed late today trying to get extra sleep for my closing shift. I hate closing shifts btw. I bet I can count on quite a few of them in the future. That's what happens when your big fat mouth makes your boss mad. Oh well. (I have another one tomorrow lol)

I saw a different nurse at Mental Health today. I'd requested a change after my doctor said I could ask for someone different to talk to. What a difference that made! I have someone I can arrange to talk to when my stress levels get too high, and she's going to refer me up the ladder to the psychiatrist who is the one my doc wants me to see once a month to help me deal with the stresses surrounding being bipolar. Progress. It was nice to be treated with respect and decency.

I am exhausted because the stress has taken a toll and I am hurting today, so I'll just curl up out on the patio with a tall glass of lemonade and a cinny bun. Every time I crack open The Stand on my reread... I'm getting to the good part. It's ALL 'the good part'. Awesome. It's only my second reading.

Is it Thursday already? Crap, work week starts for me today. Hope everyone has a great weekend. (I say that now in case I don't get the chance tomorrow... )

Did I mention that it's freakin' hot outside today? I'll probably melt in the car on the way to work. But if I really do I just hope someone is kind enough to collect my remains and stick me in a freezer. Ah, I only wish I could have lived to see the inside of that freezer.

It's also really hot inside the house today, too. A.C. is strugglin'.

Happy Friday All!! I hope this greets all of you in good health and spirits! I am sending out all goof thoughts, vibes and hugs to all who need them. My sister arrived Tuesday night, flights were perfect and on time (!!!!). It was rainy and somewhat cold when she arrived but the weather has turned better (it's now in the low 80's) and she is loving it as she came up from Texas where it's been in the upper 90's to low 100's! We drove up to the top of Mt. Spokane, which was nerve wrackinjg as there are absolutely NO guardrails once you get up to about 4,000 feet above sea level!!!! And, the road is barely wide enough to accomadate two cars!! The tippy top is 5,880 and we went all the way up to it. The view is spectacular!!! You can see all the way into Idaho and possibly Canada? Never been one for skiing but I can tell you I will never, ever drive up there in the wintertime. Yikes! Sis didn't really like it, her palms were dripping by the time we got to the top. But, at least she didn't hurl her lunch...... I didn't really like it either (the older I get the less I like heights) and since there was no place to turn around we had to go all the way to the top. There was still alittle bit of snow up there too. I threw a couple of snowballs at her- that's what baby brother's are supposed to do, right??? Anyway, we had a great time and it is something that she can look back on and wish she had punched me in the arm a couple of times over, but missed her chance. She's napping now, I guess I mentally drained her? So, everyone have a great day, be good to all you meet and have a wonderful weekend!!!!!
