LadyPain- critters are always welcome in the Cantina. There is even a special play area out back, lots of grass, places to dig holes, tons of toys. Soft cuddly critter beds too, for snoozing next to bean bag central.
Cat- Evan sounds like her had a blast. Children's plays and musical are what memories are made of.
Day started out with rain and thunder, but he sun is bright and warm now. It was the tail end of that nor'easter heading up the coast. Please be aware!

Excited and somewhat anxious today, as many of you probably are. Kudos to everyone who voted, especially those who had to deal with the profanity that is these new, stupid voter ID laws. Soon we will have the media circus on every channel.... enjoy the quiet while you can.
One week until the concert! I managed to score a 3rd row seat in front of my favorite guitarist for face value so I'm one happy camper! With my new camera and at that range I should get some amazing pictures
Sitting here in front of the pc, with my tv on in the livingroom, tuned to the news and waiting for election results (it's alittle after 6 pm PST). Tomorrow will bring a new day and a new change for our country. Either way the voting goes, it's going to be something. I hope all of you that could went out and cast your vote. If you didn't, then you have nothing to complain about later. I'm wishing you all a great day!! Warm wishes for all of you and giant hugs for those in need. Prayers go to those affected by Sandy. Just looking at the pics are breaking my heart. I hope that everyone gets the gasoline that is most needed and that the power comes on soon so that there won't be any deaths from freezing temperatures.

Please be prepared. So many are still without power, piles of debris and strong winds do not mix well. Watch for the snow too.

I sure wish I could take away some of that winter weather for everyone facing the big storm...it is absolutely gorgeous here again today, it is 60 and sunshiney right now.
Another busy day here, kids get out of school early and then we have parent teacher conferences later on. We got lucky and they are all 3 scheduled one right after another, so I hope that works out...hope whoever is ahead of us is on time so that allows us to be on time to all of ours. Not anticipating any problems with the conferences, though, they are all doing very well. Evan has all As, and Ali and Ty have "yes" marked everywhere they should. Pretty proud of them all.
