Good to see you Siggy. Stop in anytime you can, you were missed.
Continues cool in the mornings at 48F-- feel good. Making mid 70's.
This week seems to be passing by quickly.
Thoughts go out to all dealing with Sandy's aftermath. Please be safe.

30 degrees and still snowing, wind still howling.....and my daughter is insisting that she is trick or treating this evening *SMH*

It's October 31st; tonight is Hallowe'en.
We aren't "trick or treating" - my youngest is 15.
Wearing masks and begging candy? Cute if you are small.
Not as cute, however, when you're more than 6 feet tall.

He is disappointed; this was - once - his favorite night;
Moonlit leaves that rustled in the wind and caused a fright,
Dressing up and seeing friends in costume on the street.
He is not the only one who's missing "trick or treat."

No one comes to our house; driveway's dark and very long.
Yet, I still buy candy bars, although I know it's wrong.
Guess who eats the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups tonight...
If you're guessing that it's me, I'm thinking you'd be right.

I can usually figure out acronyms but had to look that one up. Google search came up with "shake my head"--is that right?
