I imagine that combo has got to be great. But what to drink with it?

Good question. I wouldn't usually drink anything when I'm eating chili but might try a beer just to see how that would taste with the whole spicy/sweet combo of the chili and rolls.

Hmm, now that is a good question. I'd probably have a nice bottle--or two--of Corona to wash it down.

Okay, now I really am starving! Arrggghhhh!!

As you gather your storm supplies, get what is needed for the chili and throw it all in the crock pot. Then stop at the best bakery in town and pick up some cinni buns. You won't care that the wind and rain are howling outside.

The temptation is just far too much, I must succumb and try this chillicinnibun combo. I'm going to buy the ingredients tomorrow and will report back next week.

Anyhoo, have a great weekend folks, take care.

I am finding it very interesting how many of you have never had chili and cinnamon rolls together! Maybe it's a Midwest thing.

You should definitely try it this weekend, Marsha. Perfect comfort food to get you through the storm! Beer is good with it. Or just a big glass of iced tea.

You could even try a spicy, or a sweet beer. My uncle made a jalapeņo beer once. I didn't try it, but it sounded interesting.

    Hi all,

I have been watching the news and learning about Sandy. Please take care all of you in the East Coast. I hope everybody is safe and nobody has any problem regarding food, electricity, water...
I'll keep an eye on the news and on the mb to make sure everything's ok.

Apart from this, I wish you all a very happy week!

    Good Monday to all.

Renaming the Cantina for the next few days to be the Ka-Tet Evacuation Center!
I hope all in the areas of Sandy are safe. Keep your pets safe too. Protective shield being applied. Stay in contact , if you can-- we tend to worry about you all.
FL is sunny and crisp with low humidity and temps only to the 70's. Breezy too.

Just be safe!!!! Mother Nature finally had her nervous breakdown.
Herbal tea in hand and off to bean bag central/ All are welcome to join. Food, drinks, good books, fire place for those who are cold.

(((( all in need or not))))
