Happy Friday everyone! I don't know about you, but I am soooo happy the week is about over.
I'm going to my first book signing tonight! Craig Johnson, the author of the Walt Longmire series of books, will be at my library for a talk and a signing. I haven't read any of his books yet, but they have been on my to do list since watching the tv show this summer on A&E, also called Longmire. I'm pretty excited, we never have stuff like this going on here. And to think I almost didn't know about it, I just found out on Wednesday! As much as we were at the library this summer, I don't know how I missed it...maybe because most of the time I was in the children's section.
Evan will be home today, too. I'm pretty anxious to hear all about his adventures. Right after he takes a shower. We've all missed him, even the dog...Wednesday afternoon when I got home with the two little ones, he was jumping around, doing his usual welcome home dance, when he just stopped in his tracks and looked back down the stairs towards the front door. He knew we were missing someone, and he has been a little forlorn since. He will be so excited to see Evan home tonight.
Wishing everyone a beautiful fall weekend, and a Happy, Happy Birthday to Spidey!! I brought lots of cake, everyone pull up a chair and have a slice or two, remember it's calorie free!!

It's a beautiful day out there and it's farmer's market season, so I'm off to party with the farmboys like its 1879! Picnics and ice cream and old fashioned sodas, woohoo.

Must agree, glad it is Friday, I do think the weeks are getting longer, even though the days pass quicker. Doesn't make sense.
Rain due in for the weekend. Really do not need any more.

Becks; I hope your pneumonia clears up soon, it must be uncomfortable/painful. I developed a bad chest infection just before my holiday, and although the antibiotics cleared the infection I still have a wicked cough.
