Happy Friday All!! Most of you will have a weekend away from work for the next two days, so enjoy them! I am sending out all kinds of positive vibes and happy thoughts and hugs to anyone who needs them!!!!! Don't see anything from Lady Pain on here yet, so I hope that all is well with her. Perhaps she's taken our advice and left her bad situation behind? Let's hope so! Everyone have a great weekend!!!

Sending big hugs and happy weekend wishes to everyone!

I'm just going to stay here in the Cantina, my husband is a grumpity grump grump today. Have I ever said how much I HATE night shifts? And we have 7 more in a row coming up, starting Sunday night. I just will stay here, listen to my new audio books and drink some happy juice. Maybe spike his tea with some, too.

Have a great weekend, my friends!

It wasn't just you. Have been busy but the time has just dragged by, e.g. shouldn't it be at least 3:45 by now?!

It's been wicked long between the awful, headache inducing weather and the cold making the rounds in our area. Hope you have a good weekend.

Well, the weather here is absolutely gorgeous: blue skies, cool breeze, about 80 degrees. Unfortunately, my house is a disaster, and as I've got company all weekend, I can't put off cleaning any longer. Actually, I haven't been putting it off at all; just couldn't get to it. I've been working ridiculous amounts of OT for the past month, as has my husband. So ... I got everything I needed to do at work done (even though expectations were unrealistically high), which I attribute in even portions to skill, luck, and medication. That means that I am going to quit working now and start on my housework. At least I can have the windows open even if I can't play hooky; this is the nicest the weather has been in literally months. (Two months is still months.) Tomorrow is supposed to be 90, but even that will feel like a break compared to the 105 that's been the norm. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

And Tracey, dear, I hope you are safe and taking care of yourself.

I'm still where I am. I was in the ER and at the police station again last night, documenting. I'm waiting for a call back from someone at the women's center who will help me get out faster. I have a hard time finding accommodation because I am not only a smoker, but it's POT I smoke and most places are Non-smoking to begin with. Hoping to find a place where medical smokin' won't be an issue.

Life is hard, and no amount of lectures from any of you will make things happen faster, so please... just send good vibes. I need that more than yet another lecture from someone well-meaning. I'm built like a warrior, inside and out. I'll survive. The reactions I've been having would have killed me last year, but I am strong now. I made sure of it with about 25 hours of exercise a week for about three years, okay?

No lecture or judgment on you, but I might just judge the justice system out there. Shouldn't this aggressor be in jail?

No lecturing. Just very glad to hear from you. Sending you good vibes for a speedy resolution, good health, tea, soap, books, dancing, and most of all, abiding peace.

Good point. Why is it always on the victim to escape?
