Hello to all.

It's looking like another long week for me here. With way above average temperatures, Still.

The wildfires here in Colorado are terrible! There is one that isn't very far away that they just can't seem to get a handle on. Many people have been temporarily displaced due to the closeness to the city. I think so far, everyone is staying safe and so far no structures have been damaged. That part is at least good news. That is not the case for some of the other fires around the state. There was a fire up in Estes Park the other day, and 21 homes were burned down. Very sad.
Anyway, it doesn't look like we have any moisture at all in our forecast for the next several days...just lots of wind and very high temperatures.
And breathing smoke is just not pleasant. Hopefully everyone will continue to be okay.

Send whatever good vibes and thoughts and prayers (if that's your thing) to the people in Colorado that need them, please!!

I'm sending love, hugs and all that other good stuff to the Ka-Tet here........

Not much going on here, just getting ready for my sister's visit (she flies in tonight!!!), looking at what needs to be done and saying to myself 'Nope, just don't wanna get started on that cleaning stuff.' Good Tuesday to all. Florida is really getting tired of Debby. She needs to find the peddle and move onward= fast.
Heard from Hoss, so he's Ok too. Thankful. Nasty stuff all around, Still many roads are closed due to flooding.

Many prayers for those in the wildfire areas. Wish Debby's rain could have gone there instead. Some places may get as much as 2 feet! That would sure help put those fires out.

Large iced herbal tea in hand and off to bean bag central -- all are welcome to join.

Morning, everyone! Just stopping in for a quick cuppa coffee, we are headed out of town for the day. The official temp on Sunday according to the paper was 107, not 102 like I thought. Paper said it had only been higher two times in the town's history. Yikes. We didn't hit 100 yesterday, but close. So, we are headed out to higher elevations, and then going to circle around and visit the inlaws for a while.

Before the paper burst into flames, you mean? Hot in Atlanta today, as it has been lately. A breeze this morning helped, but that's gone gone. So I use the artificial kind--a fan, electrical as long as I can pay the bills. Staying indoors for now. Later may grill, with a fan.

Torrid Tuesday Tetinas!
I'll have a black coffee please and maybe a rolling doughnut with which to fly an f-bomb on. Again with the wanting to say weird things and doing it.
I hate that the weather and the environment are doing crazy things. I worry about you all out there. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and would carry you around in my pocket if I could... it's pretty safe in there. Usually.
The weather here in beautiful downtown north Everett continues to be like baby bear's porridge. I cross fingers and knock wood as I say that. That is not easy.
I like that you call me Pats, Dan, it makes me smile. It feels right too. With a name like Patricia you get a bunch of nicknames, but I dare say I like that one the best.
I hope all goes well with your sister's visit. If you make it up to Everett give me a holler, if not I can drool on you some other time. Time with your family is precious.
Things are still weird in the bookmines, but I have managed to keep it civil. One of my co-workers looked into it and it seems that we are indeed not supposed to throw good books away.
However, I don't reckon yelling at your boss is SOP though. Working on that. (He yelled at me first, she said poutily. )
