Winging this...read it in Stephen (R?) Donaldson's stories about Thomas Covenant, the unbeliever.....
A man is in a room, no windows, no doors....there is a bed and a calendar in the room....how does he survive?
a: he drinks water from the springs of the bed....eats dates from the calendar on the wall.
This what you meant?
I'm the part of the bird that's not in the sky. I can swim in the ocean and yet remain dry. What am I?
Paging Frank Gorshin!
Do you want an Eddie riddle or a Roland riddle?
I never would have made it off that damn Blaine. I am so bad at riddles. I've read the Tower series twice, and am on my second audio version of the journey. You would think that I would remember those riddles...nope. Each time I've read that portion or listened to the audio I'm scratching my head, saying, "hmmmm...wonder what that could be?"
Yeah, I would've been splattered all over Topeka.
No. No one would be splattered! For Eddie fooled the angry train by throwing non-sense at it!
Take for example "What do eggs call one another when they hit something but don't break? EGGCELLENT!"
