So all we know at this point is that it's an e-book. I'm assuming it's short story or maybe a novella? Is there any page count on it? Since it's an ebook I guess I'll have to wait until September 1st to find out.

It's listed at 80 pages.
Pre-Ordered it.....yay!!!! 3 bucks....not too shabby.
I think the e-book format is great for novellas and short stories. Of course on this board we are alerted when SK is putting a short story in a magazine or anthology. Before I was on this board, I rarely ever read one of SK's stories in a magazine because I didn't know it was there. With the e-book format, the author has a single place to sell the story (Amazon, B&N, etc) making the stories easier to find. These stories will probably make their way into a future collection just like if they were in a magazine. With short stories disappearing from magazines, the e-book format may keep the short story alive.
Ms Mod, any numbers on how UR sales compared to a magazine short story? Of course, with a magazine, you don't know how many sales are because of a short story in it. Maybe the question should be was SK happy with the sales of UR as an e-book?
Thanks. Is the excerpt from 11/22/63 the same one as published online, or is there more?
I think I was told that its 15,000 words. Not sure how long that is.
