    Default Writing with cats

It's amazing how many famous authors through history had a Feline Muse.

Mr. King--and anyone else reading--do you ever have a cat on your keyboard?

Check out some great photos of current and past literary lions with their loved ones here:

Writing with cats? The first thing that comes to mind is

DON'T THEY COMPLAIN WHEN YOU INK THEM UP?

    We all float down here.

    Hi,

Welcome to the MB, and keep posting!

Yes, and we're getting another kitten next week as well.

Have you ever read Don Marquis's stories of archy and mehitabel, the cat and the cockroach who wrote poetry together, you might enjoy them.

Writing with cats- cats on the keyboard- oh my, oh yes. Some people spill drinks, or get food caught under their keys-. I have enough fur under mine to make another cat! I actually have to take one off the laptop each morning before I can begin my day on the SKMB. In winter they love the warmth that is emitted. I do battle each day. Many times they help with my replies.... those extra letters in words, or even worst-- after typing a long email, change of page or worst.... delete!
Cats on keyboard- oh yes indeed!!

    Hi,

Dem pesky cats hiding again when they see a camera!

BTW other books that cat-lovers might enjpy are Paul Gallico's 'Jennie' and 'The Silent Miaow', and his other books written from a cat's perspective.
