I've got a better idea. How bout that kid that plays in Real Steel? He's pretty good, and seems to be an up-and-coming actor with real potential. Plus, he doesn't have trillions of screaming little-girl fans who will crowd the theaters and make all us real SK fans want to

I think Joel Courtney from Super 8 could do a good job as Jake. They need to get a move on, though, because it's going to take them at least 3 years to make the saga, and kids grow up fast. Jake isn't supposed to "age" like the Harry Potter kids.

Sure needs an actor that has paid their dues so to speak. Sorry, but Bieber could not get that part across in a million years, what an insult to the beam. I have to agree after just watching Super 8, Joel Courtney would be a good choice.
